Door Window Switch

These switches are used to move the glass for each door up and down. When a person presses it, the window motor receives a signal to begin turning its gears. Then the gears move the window regulator up and down, controlling the movement of the glass. The master power window switch is located on the driver side of the car. This button controls all of the car windows via the switch panel.

There could be a few issues with this button that causes you to need a new one. If one glass stops moving it could be a fuse, but it could also be the part itself being faulty. If the master window switch works for another window but the door’s individual button does not, this most likely means part needs to be replaced. Also, if the window works sometimes but does not work all the time, your switch may be dying.
